Driver Technician- Salary £19,305 -19,773 dep on exp
45 hours per week, Mon - Fri 08:00 - 17:00
Job Purpose
To deliver, fit, demonstrate, service and collect equipment in and from service user's homes, ensuring at all times standards of service expected by the company are met and where possible exceeded. The service covers seven days a week so you will need to be available to undertake out of hours responsibilities on a rota basis approx. one week in 13
Key Responsibilities
·Delivery, installation, repair, service and collection of Community Equipment.
·To deal with service user queries in a prompt, polite and professional manner.
·To Communicate any issues to the admin team or original referrer
·To maintain a high standard of customer care and to have good communication and social skills.
·To maintain client confidentiality at all times
·Use of scanners and mobile phone app to complete work and obtain client/representative signature
·Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and out.
Required Skills
·Educated to general level
·Full UK driving licence
·Experience working as a multi drop driver
·Knowledge of the Greater Manchester area
·Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
·Experience of face to face customer contact
·Flexible approach to work and environments
·Team Player
·Physically able to lift and carry loads.
