Currently, we are looking for a coin counter to be part of our processing team. As a coin counter, you will be responsible for counting and processing our clients’ notes and coin deposits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Counting coins/notes and accurately completing the necessary paperwork.
  • To comply with cash processing procedures.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and report these to management.
  • Ensure work is processed to clients’ deadlines.
  • Providing good customer service by timely completing assignments.
  • To maintain a tidy work environment and compliance to waste procedures.
  • Required to work in flexible shift patterns.
  • The selected candidate will be required to apply for the SIA Non Front-line Cash in Transit Licence.

Essential Skills and Requirements
  • Job involves manual handling and standing for long periods of time.
  • Helpful, reliable and trustworthy character who is focused on providing good customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good numeracy and communication skills.
  • Basic level of IT skills.
  • Willingness to learn and pick up new skills.
  • Good time management.
  • Ability to work within a team and take instructions from management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be 18+ in age.
What we can offer you
  • Pay increase to £10.55 per hour on successful completion of 3 months

  • 20 days plus 8 bank holiday days of paid holiday
 
Hours of work:
 
  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, Five shifts between 6:00 am to 6:00 pm with flexible shift patterns
There will be a six months probationary period for the role.
Please note that successful candidates will be vetted for reference, CRB, and credit checks. Successful applicants will also need to complete a short test to ensure your skills match our requirements.
