Dispatch Administrator

Based in

North Milton Keynes

£9.15 p/hour, 12 week temp-perm contract

We are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Administrator for our client based in North Milton Keynes. Immediate start is available and this position will be on a temporary to permanent contract. Previous experience within a similar position is highly desirable, however full training will be provided.

The Role:

  • To provide a first class administrative support function to the transport planners, team leaders, supervisor and internal and external customers.
  • To ensure all vehicles are despatched in line with customer orders, build requirements and stock priority, delivery times and dates
  • To ensure all costings for Despatch department are completed in a timely manner and within 2 hours of the load being despatched.
  • To ensure all Despatch paperwork is completed accurately and filed in date order in the appropriate file.

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Previous experience within a transport / warehouse environment is highly desirable
  • Good communication skills - must be able to understand and communicate in English verbally and in writing.
