Our client based in Burgess Hill is looking to recruit a Receptionist.

Reporting to the Front of House Team Leader you will be the face of the business and a key brand ambassador, providing a positive first impression to everyone that interacts with the Team as well as displaying a professional and courteous manner at all times.

You will be a critical point of contact to the client's stakeholders, Customers, Journalists, Suppliers and Third Parties; you will set the benchmark for superior customer service.

Sitting within the Facilities Team, you will carry out a diverse range of tasks to support the organisation and play a vital role in ensuring the day-to-day activities across the business run smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Present a polished, professional and positive image at all times
  • Ensure confidentiality processes and procedures are upheld
  • Manage the telephone switchboard, making sure calls are answered in a timely and courteous manner
  • Keep the reception area clean and tidy
  • Act as a company Fire Warden in the event of an incident and notifying all Visitors to the building of the Fire Assembly Point
  • Support Technical Services Trainers in coordinating the customer training schedules
  • Keep your knowledge of the company's products and services up to date and attend training updates when necessary
  • Ensure all Health, Safety & Security processes are followed

Requirements

  • Previous Customer Service focused positions
  • Previous administrative responsibilities
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Proficient at using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite
  • Previous switchboard experience (desirable)
  • Experience of working within a medical market-leading organisation (desirable)
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Conscientious and resourceful individual
  • Attention to detail, excellent written and administrative abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse range of stakeholders and build relationships
  • Strong listening skills, patience and a high level of empathy
  • Effective time management and organisation
  • Problem-solving and a can do attitude with the ability to think on your feet
  • Flexible, focused and adaptable under pressure
