Job Description:

Reporting to the GM - Fatigue Safety, the Fatigue Safety Analyst is responsible for assisting in the day to day management of the Jet2.com Fatigue Management System (FMS) by applying Human Factors principles to the Company Safety Management System (SMS). Focusing on the data produced by the FMS, the Fatigue Safety Analyst is required to source, manipulate, analyse and present relevant information that will enhance the management of fatigue within Jet2.com.

Through the analysis of Fatigue Safety Reports and the assessment of incidents and near misses, you will support the collation of information to identify trends used by management for strategic decision making in the Fatigue Safety Action Group (FSAG). You will promote the Jet2.com 'Just Culture' and the anonymous, confidential reporting facility, in accordance with Company's Safety Management System.

The successful candidate will preferably have experience working in an Airline Operations or Safety environment, and will therefore have a good understanding of operating a flying roster. You will have a strong knowledge of the aviation industry and will demonstrate a logical and analytical approach to problem solving. As the focal point for Crew Fatigue you will be approachable and empathetic whilst offering a high level of discretion and confidentiality. The Fatigue Safety Analyst will also have excellent IT skills, particularly with MS Office applications and It would also be desirable if you are able to demonstrate experience of managing a database.
