Job Description:

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • As Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible for the entire supply chain from purchase of raw materials, production planning through to warehousing and Logistics for a large plastics manufacturing site across 3 warehouse functions. Managing a team in excess of 70 staff , you will be a strong people manager who has proven experience in implementing corporate strategies, process and procedures across the supply chain. Your excellent knowledge of lean techniques will enable you to drive efficiencies, inventory savings and continuous improvement activity.
  • An analytical mind together with advanced Excel skills are required to be successful in this role, providing support to production planning, materials procurement and warehouse. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to assess performance of the supply chain, looking for possible innovations and improvements and will be able to negotiate contracts with suppliers to optimise purchasing conditions and processes.
