Graduate Production Engineer
*Greenford, West London (free parking on site)
*1-year fixed term contract
*£22,000 - £27,000 (depending on experience)
*Monday to Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
An exciting opportunity has arisen for our client who seek a Graduate Production Engineer to support the Production, Engineering department with reviewing and updating all Standard Operating Procedures and other relevant procedures. This a fantastic opportunity for the appointed individual to come into a Production Manufacturing environment and gain exposure in this role whilst working alongside experienced Manufacturing Engineers. For the right individual there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

As the Graduate Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:
*Auditing all manufacturing processes and highlighting any discrepancies
*Updating all the Standard Operating Procedures to the new format which would include basic diagram drawings, photographing and labelling
*Management of the documentation sign off procedure
*Assisting with any changes and communicating these to the company
*Assisting with the building, validation and maintenance of the Bill of Materials within their new ERP system
*Supporting with the creation of training material

As the successful Graduate Production Engineer, you should have the following related skills and experience:
*Excellent understanding of Engineering principles
*Previous experience within an Engineering / Manufacturing environment
*Ability to write complex instructions in clear, simple English
*Strong communicational skills, both written and verbal
*Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
*Ability to work to own initiative with a hands-on approach
*Ideally degree qualified
*6-12 months industry experience in a related role would be highly beneficial but not necessary for your application
