Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an Operational Process Safety Analyst for a for a 3 month contract at a busy industrial facility based in Clydach, Swansea, starting in September.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out audits and field verification of process safety and asset integrity related critical controls at the facility. They will be expected to engage with key personnel in order to gather the information needed, identifying gaps in the system and creating an action plan.

The individual will assist in the development of a risk framework that will capture all the critical controls in the refinery in preparation for implementation as a digitalised system. The role will be a combination of administrative work and working out in the field.

The minimum level of competence and qualification required is a NEBOSH diploma and / or degree equivalent. Applicants must have knowledge and experience of process safety systems, asset integrity systems, auditing and be able to display a high level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and particularly MS Excel.

The successful candidate will be expected to work as part of a small team within the engineering operations department, must have a strong work ethic and work on own initiative within set timescales.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a high level of resilience. The ability to work to tight deadlines and targets is essential for this role.

Experience of working in Heavy Industry and within a COMAH site would be desirable but not essential for this role.

Hourly pay is £16.92 P/H, based on 37.5 hours a week from Monday - Friday.
