My North East based client brings to the market an extensive installation and maintenance facility, with a client portfolio of main contractors, electrical contractors and end users (blue chip organisations and small/medium enterprises). They install and maintain Fire, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, Traffic Management and Safety Systems. They have traded for over 21 years and are a NSI Gold, BAFE and ISO Accredited for industry standards and in addition to these are also accredited with CHAS and Construction line for Health and Safety Matters. They are great champions of training and employee development.
The company are now looking for a construction site experienced Installation Project Manager for sites in the Manchester and North West region. The role is to deliver projects on time and in a professional manner. The successful candidate will have the ability to work with a professional approach throughout any project delivering concise reports detailing all performances of each project. The successful candidate will provide key support to the Installation team on site and provide accurate feedback on staff, site progress and any key requirements to meet any specific deadlines. The successful candidate will also possess the capabilities to manage all site staff and our clients, where necessary report to them any progress issues. It will also be the project managers role to ensure equipment is issued to site in a timely fashion to provide total continuity of any site requirements and productivity. The successful person will also take responsibility for the financial requirements of any projects they will be running. We are looking for an experienced person for the role however we will consider any ambitious individual who wishes to progress their career to the next level. We will provide full training and support for the successful person in achieving both their own and the company's objectives.
Main Duties & Responsibilities Include
* Employee performance
* Communicate with all relevant persons and bodies to ensure all delivery times are met
* Compliance and Commercial awareness
* Set individual targets to meet all necessary KPI's
* Delivering a first-class customer service to improve retention and growth of all accounts
* Improving productivity and delivering margin improvement
* Providing strong, high-profile leadership and driving change in terms of structure, culture and processes.
* Manage client SLA/ KPI via client portals
Company Responsibilities
* To undertake any additional duties at the request of your line manager, which is deemed to be within your competency
* To induct, manage and develop any personnel within your responsibility
* To adhere to all S.A.F.E. policies and procedures
* To undertake any training and development activities at the request of your line manager
* To comply with all Injury Prevention policies and support new initiatives
Skills, Preferable Experience and Qualifications Required
* Experienced Security, Fire and Life Safety Professional
* Certificated BS5839 Standards
* Full Understanding of NSI (NACOSS) standards
* Compliance and British Standards Auditing
* Leadership, Ownership & Accountability
* Performance Management
* Decision making, Planning and organising
* Influencing and leading with excellent communication Skills
* Be a Good Team Member
* Willingness to learn
Salary £35,000, commission, car or allowance (which includes fuel card), Ipad, phone, laptop, test meters, 20 days plus an additional day per year of service, holiday and auto enrol pension
