JOB: Senior Maintenance Engineer

Sector: Manufacturing

Shift: 3 Shift Mon - Fri

Location: Birmingham, Tamworth, Coleshill, Coventry, Elmdon, Marston Green

Salary: £45,000 + overtime

Our client is a major producer of assemblies supplied to the Automotive sector working with some of the worlds leading OEM's. As a result of career development they now require a Senior Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with supervisory experience and knowledge of paint lines working a rotating three shift pattern Monday to Friday.

You will be an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer form an automated volume manufacturing background used to working to tight deadlines, on a range of automated production equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery is kept in a functional safe condition by dealing with breakdown and preventive maintenance following quality, productivity and HSE standards.

Maintenance Engineer, main accountabilities will include:

* Team leader / Supervisory responsibilities.

* Provide a rapid response to breakdowns and repair accordingly

* Perform daily and weekly maintenance planned activities

* Maintain and improve OEE for equipment on systems and manage / maintain PPM system.

* Insure preventive maintenance of all machinery

* Check spare part stocks in consignment warehouse

* Check coagulation

* Comply with current operating instructions

* Contribute to TPM process

* Record consumables in appropriate systems

* Manage the spares system for all equipment.

* Support new installations required to improve performance.

* Ensure that all utility equipment operates in a safe manner and exceeds current legislation.

Maintenance Engineer, the ideal candidate will have experience and in depth knowledge of:

* Team Leading / Supervisory duties

* Automated paint lines

* Pneumatics and hydraulics

* Fabrication

* Equipment strip down - pumps, gear pumps, wet paint specific equipment

* Bench Skills

* Electrical installations

* Fault Finding

* Robotics (Ideally Fanuc and ABB)

* PLC's (Ideally Seimans S7 and Schneider)
