Maintenance Team Leader

We have an excellent opportunity for an Engineering or Maintenance Shift Team Leader to work within a successful and challenging food business based in the Spalding area.

This is an opportunity to work for a market leader within their industry.

The Role

- The successful Engineering Leader will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will maximise operational effectiveness and machine availability on their respective shift.
- You will manage the activities of a multi disciplined engineering team drawing the best out of each individual through motivation and training where required.
- As an advocate of continuous improvement and efficiency methodologies you will ensure asset reliability forms an integral part of your role.
- Management of and compliance with site CMMS system.
- Provide daily shift reports highlighting downtime, performance and availability of the materials handling equipment.
- Participation in management meetings.
- Ensure all Health & Safety guidelines are met and adhered to, also promoting all company values, policies and procedures in all aspects and areas of work.

The Candidate

- The successful candidate will have an Engineering Apprenticeship discipline or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- The Suitable Team Manager will have ideally gained your experience from within a Warehouse, Distribution, Food, FMCG or general demanding manufacturing environment
- Managed teams of up to 4.
- Ability to effectively manage, train and develop multi disciplined teams.
- A strong understanding of H&S standards
