Position: Security Small Works and Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £30,000 + Company Van + pension scheme + laptop + mobile phone + opportunities for overtime
Call Out / Standby: 1 week in every 4
Location: South East of England
Our client is a leading Fire & Security Systems Company who covers: -
* CCTV security systems & remote monitoring service
* Fire protection services
* Maintenance & small works
* Rental & contract hire of safety & security equipment
Due to the continued growth within this organisation, we now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security / Maintenance Engineer to work across a variety of sites across the South East of England (covering Kent, Surrey, Sussex). There will be occasional work to complete within Central London.
This role will be responsible for servicing and supporting new and existing fire customers by responding to service calls, carrying out planned maintenance and small installation works.
The successful candidate will provide an exceptional customer service experience whilst completing routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of fire detection, fire alarm and associated equipment and products.
Key parts of the Maintenance Engineer include: -
* Being able to maintain and repair a wide range of electronic systems and mechanical equipment, CCTV Cameras, DVRS, NVRS systems
* Achieving a PPM schedule within agreed timescales
* Small works
* Ability to work efficiently on your own or as part of a team
* Being an excellent communicator (both written or verbally)
* Having a full UK Driving licence and being flexible to travel on a daily basis
Candidate's skills / experience: -
* Minimum of 2 years electrical experience working with security alarms, CCTV & access controls
* Experience with maintenance and repair of analogue CCTV System
* Experience with maintenance and repair of IP CCTV System
* Experience with maintenance and repair of Door Access System
* IPAF and / or PASMA desirable but not essential
* A full UK driving licence
