Lead Cyber Security Technician - Azure, Office 365, DLP

A Lead Cyber Security Technician is required by one of the fastest growing eCommerce organisations in the North West as they continue along the line of their digital transformation programme. This is creating an exciting opportunity to lead a small team of Cyber Security technicians in looking at enterprise wide security and service delivery.

The Lead Cyber Security Technician will be responsible for ensuring adherence to all standards of compliance and security to deliver a secure service to the business. You will be proactive in the identification of potential improvements to be made within the business-wide IT function. This role will involve leading a small team of Cyber Security Technicians, developing their potential and engaging with them to ensure team efficiency is at its maximum.

The successful Lead Cyber Security Technician will have:

Experience of Microsoft desktop and mobile technologies
Experience with Azure technologies
Working knowledge of Microsoft InTune, Powershell and SCCM to remote push software
Ability to deliver in a high-pressure environment and juggle multiple tasks effectively
Excellent communication skills and an ability to manage technical and non-technical stakeholdersThe following attributes would be beneficial but are not considered a must:

Experience within retail, financial services and regulated enviroments
Experience leading a small team
Appropriate professional qualifications - ITIL, CompTIA CYSA+, CompTIA Security+ etcWill suit an existing Lead Cyber Security Technician looking to make a real difference within a market leading enterprise wide retail organisation on an exciting transformation journey with a fantastic opportunity to build your skills both in security analysis and utilising technical tools. This client is also considering those who do not have experience in a senior/lead role but are looking to make the step up and can justify this with tangible achievements and experience.
