Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer Role - Salary Circa £32,000 - £34,000 plus on call and bonus

Location: Hartlepool (County Durham)
Shifts: Day Shift

The Company:

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with a successful growing company, who is a leading manufacturer and a specialist within their industry who are looking for an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer. The company have a low turnover of staff and pay huge attention to the training of their employee's.

The Position:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer, who is Electrically Biased with a basic understanding of mechanical to fulfill a permanent position to report into the Maintenance Manager daily. This position requires experience of working within a COMAH industry and to be COMPEX certified.

Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer:

Time Served - Electrical Apprenticeship

Providing planned maintenance activities within a fast paced, high volume environment.

Project Installation work.

To showcase a high degree of multi-skilling and be comfortable delivering mechanical duties.

To systematically establish the cause of failure in equipment.

To identify root causes wherever possible and communicate with relevant personnel.

Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

Ensuring health & safety regulations are followed.

Completing the actions arising from root causes.

Continuous improvement elements.

There will also be an on-call element to this role.

ONC Qualification

Responsibilities:

Maintain and develop the PPM schedule

To drive KPI's and success within the maintenance department

Hands on approach to trouble shooting and conducting the root cause analysis

Rectification of PLC's and fault finding

Potential installation of machinery
