Job Description:

Our client is a global logistics and supply chain company and are currently recruiting transport administrator to work at their Kettering site.

This role includes elements of transport administration as well as warehouse work, all contributing to the delivery of exceptional service delivered to their clients and end customers.

Shifts and working pattern:

15:00-23:00

Monday to Friday working week

Overtime offered as extended shifts and additional days at the weekend

Eight-hour shifts with 2x 15minute and 1x 30minute breaks (30 mins break paid)

Pay:

£9.05 per hour for standard hours, up to £12.13 overtime

Pay increase after 12 weeks - £9.59 per hour basic, with overtime rates up to £14.36

Duties:

Arranging bookings and collections for customer orders

Processing DHL collections on its portal and preparing for collection.

Maintaining data logs

Communicating with the Warehouse and other departments to ensure any dispatch matters are dealt with and managed as required in a timely manner

Loading vehicles in accordance with delivery manifests

Candidate requirements:

Candidate will be required to provide 5 years referenceable history

Candidates will be required to submit a basic DBS check(cost will be reimbursed)

Candidates will have ability to communicate effectively and politely, both verbally and in writing with employees, managers, and customers within and outside the Company

Candidate will be neat and accurate, computer literate, ideally competent in Microsoft software packages such as Word and Excel
