Job Description:

Our client is a very successful high volume manufacturer who are continually growing. The successful candidate will work with the management team to ensure the highest standards are implemented and adhered to.

HSE/H & S/ Health and Safety/QHSE/NEBOSH/IOSH/Manufacturing

Key responsibilities:

Record and Investigate incidents, accidents, complaints, first aid arrangements and cases of ill health that may affect staff safety
Undertake risk assessments and site inspections (i.e. manual handling, COSHH)
Ensure equipment is installed in a safe and correct manner
Identify and deal with potential hazards including reporting procedures
Look at ways to reduce risks and implement
Review and keep health and safety polices up to date
Health and safety reporting
Head health and safety meetings with internal staff
Establish a health and safety training programme
Train staff where necessary
Ensure training is documented and updated when necessary
Liaise with relevant authorities
Ensure compliant in line with current health and safety regulations
Ensure that all rules and regulations are adhered to
Record all health and safety inspections and audits
Ensure regular check and drills (i.e fire) are carried out
Implement daily checks for machinery and process

HSE/H & S/ Health and Safety/QHSE/NEBOSH/IOSH/Manufacturing

Skills, qualifications and experience:

A proven track record within a manufacturing environment
NEBOSH qualified
Experience of H & S investigation, risk assessments
COSHH trained
