Infrastructure Security Consultant | £61,000 + £7,200 | Nr Guildford

Jonothan Bosworth Recruitment Specialists are currently seeking the services of a highly skilled Infrastructure Security Consultant to join our client; a managed cloud, infrastructure and IT consultancy provider based in Surrey.

The ideal candidate will provide network security solutions to our client and their UK client base, assisting with driving the process around network security - to include Servers, Storage & Desktop technologies

THE BASICS:

The Infrastructure Security Consultant will provide operational, technical and security support to include infrastructure consultancy expertise, whilst acting as the point of contact for any technical security requirements or queries; managing, supporting and developing our clients' security function in line with business and regulatory requirements.

THE KEY SKILLS:

Please apply if you can:

1. Manage and treat security risks within our clients' infrastructure and network, including the technical management of the Risk Register.

2. Carry out daily security management tasks to ensure cyber security including the identification and management of external threats including notification alerts from vendor and national sources are managed.

3. Deal with any security incidents, service requests and security problems logged in the Service Desk.

4. Develop security monitoring across the infrastructure and identify any risks including: Nessus, IDS and SIEM.

THE ESSENTIALS:

Individuals with data centre hosting, virtualisation (server and desktop), networking, authentication, storage, security and monitoring skills and excellent Hyper-V, VMWare, Windows Server 2012 and 2016 experience should apply.

If you've had exposure to Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services/Group Policy/DNS and hands-on networking experience, to include: Cisco routing & switching and ASA - we'd like to hear from you ASAP.

THE DESIRABLES:

If you have a solid understanding of Public Cloud (Azure/AWS) and experience in a commercial IT Solutions provider or Managed Services environment - utilising: Solarwinds NPM/IPAM/NCM/Netflow and Microsoft System Centre skills; (SCOM, SCCM, SCSM), Skype for Business and Openstack you are likely to receive an immediate interview request.

Any candidate with MCSA, CISMP, CISSP qualifications will also be of high interest.
