Lloyd Recruitment Services are delighted to have been approached by a long standing client, a highly prestigious and truly global organisation, and have been asked to assist them in their search for an experienced Product Owner within their Retail (Motor) division.

This is an amazing opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Product Owner to support the company's future mobility vision to drive customer centric experiences.

As Product Owner you will shape and implement the agreed future mobility strategy across all channels to drive acquisition of new customers, whilst continuing to engage and retain existing customers through multiple touchpoints.

You will be working on a number of key strategically focused project areas, working across the business and across both major brands. You will drive forward a range of products / services via Apps, portals and digital solutions to innovate end customer mobility experiences. You will also prioritise change through robust business cases, data and insights and a customer first approach. As such you need to be able to build strong relationships with all key stakeholders and be comfortable with driving complex projects forward, taking a hands-on approach.

Key responsibilities:

Act as business owner for the below strategic products, in-life and future developments, working across the business to collaborate across functions to drive continuous improvements. Manage external partners and work in between IT and business stakeholders.

Work with Business Analyst's to create user stories, specifying requirements and acceptance criteria with detail and clarity sufficient for implementation and testing.

Strategic products: Car sharing, Car pooling, Subscription, Multi-modal

  • Establish, manage and develop a car sharing roadmap and communicate across all teams.
  • Establish working relationships within the car sharing sector to collaborate and innovate solutions that lead to 1st class experiences for our current and future customer base.
  • Define the MVP and deliver a new experience for customer to enjoy the product range.
  • Create and manage the product backlog.
  • Monitor key performance indicators to drive continuous improvements.

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience working in similar role / mobility market disrupter start up.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies essential and Waterfall methodologies an advantage.
  • Bringing new mobility products / services to market and managing mobility products / services through their lifecycle in a disciplined and methodical manner.
  • Experience building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience multi-tasking and working across Matrix teams and problem solving.
  • Creating robust business cases and putting forward recommendations to senior management.
  • Working with business stakeholders and translating ideas or solutions into business requirements/stories for development.
  • Competent working in between IT and the business.
  • Awareness of developments and current thought leadership in the mobility space.

It would be advantageous if applicants had Automotive/Financial Services experience, and a knowledge/understanding of the FCA and being a regulated company.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent desirable
  • Scrum certification
  • Professional Project Management qualification beneficial
