Rutherford Briant are recruiting for an Audit Assistant Manager for this very well established Accountancy Firm based in Peterborough.

Responsibilities also include all aspects of audit and accounts assignment management for predominantly professional services clients, as well as staff management and administration. Others include:

- Responsible for company and LLP audits, accounts preparations, company and LLP tax and compliance.

- Mentor, train and manage junior members of staff to enable them to develop and progress.

- Actively promote and market the firm and its services to attract new clients as well as retain and develop new relationships with existing clients

The company are very well known for their presence within both the London and Essex markets as well as their work internationally. They pride themselves on their charity work, employee socials commitments and sporting activities as well as offering a very upbeat working environment.

Successful candidates will be ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 4-5 years experience at Manager level and have strong experience in running their own portfolio. They must also have a high level of familiarity with UK auditing/accounting standards and corporation tax knowledge, as well as excellent organisation, communication and project management skills.
