Contract Type: Full time - Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Location: Central Liverpool
Our Client, BDO - an international network of public accounting, is looking to recruit Audit Senior Assistants to join the Audit Support Hub based in Liverpool. This team is one of several Hubs within BDO's rapidly growing Shared Service Centre (SSC). SSC team members work internally within the business providing support to the client facing members of the firm.
The Audit Support Hub provides audit set-up, planning and completion support to Audit stream clients as well as assisting in the delivery of BDO's own data analytics tool.
Responsibilities
Role summary:

This will be a challenging and rewarding role where you will:
* Support regional client facing audit teams with multiple aspects of the annual audit process (including audit set up, data analysis, report generation, derivative valuation, casting etc)
* Work extensively with BDO's proprietary audit support systems and processes
* Support junior members of the team as may be required
* Contribute to review and quality control of the team outputs
* Deal with internal queries with colleagues and teams across BDO UK
* Provide support to other colleague teams dependent upon seasonality of core work

What we're looking for:
Essentials
* IT skills - strong working knowledge of MS Office and similar desktop applications. Willingness to learn new systems is essential
* Well presented with a professional level of communication - both verbal and written
* Good time management, organisation skills and the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with limited supervision.
* Ability to work well in a team environment.
* Ability to use own initiative and take a flexible approach.
* Relevant work experience ideally in either audit or finance.

No training contract is provided with this role, although it provides relevant experience. Role specific training is provided however
