Accounts & Audit Senior - £35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits - Permanent - Maidenhead

A rapidly growing accountancy practice in Maidenhead are seeking an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their established team.

Accounts & Audit Senior Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with clients via phone and email. Ensure all queries are discussed with the client and key risk areas.
  • Assist in job planning and workflow of accounts and audit work. Chasing clients where necessary to ensure jobs are progressed timely and efficiently once records have been received.
  • Motivate and train junior members of staff.
  • Assist with pre audit planning with manager and partner. Attending client premises for each audit assignment at planning, and field work stage as necessary, and ultimately presenting the audit files for manager review.
  • Document and test audit clients systems and controls notes, which should be reviewed with appropriate client staff so that they are kept up to date on an annual basis.
  • Maintain and develop existing as well as new customers, through proactive service and support.
