I am currently working with a small, family run private house cleaning company based near Hammersmith. As their business is growing they are looking to bring on a new Cleaning Recruitment Manager.

It will be a full-time, employed position and the salary will be in the region of £28,000 - £32,000 gross per annum (negotiable depending on level of experience).

You will be responsible for the recruitment of cleaners and for delivering the high standards of cleaning and ironing which our clients expect. In addition, you will assist the Managing Director with the day-to-day running of the business and helping to foster good client relations.

Main responsibilities will include:

* Placing adverts for cleaners and updating them as required, ensuring that we have a continuous presence on all relevant platforms

* Sifting through applications and selecting suitable candidates to interview

* Conducting regular in-depth interview and training sessions

* Writing detailed reports on all interviewees and deciding which ones to take on (in consultation with other members of the team if necessary)

* Verifying references and speaking/writing to referees in order to gain further information and a fuller picture of candidates

* Managing a monthly recruitment budget and selecting the most suitable areas to allocate this resource

* Carry out regular spot check on both new and existing cleaners

* Supervising, supporting and retraining cleaners where required

* Handling complaints from clients and implementing suitable corrective measures

You will have an assistant to help with the workload, share interviewing and cleaning supervision duties and contribute ideas. Part of your role will be to delegate tasks to your assistant, offer guidance and develop her potential.

The successful candidate will:

* Hands-on experience working as a cleaner/housekeeper

* Have experience of recruitment and working in an office environment

* Have fluent spoken and written English

* Have a professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills

* Be self-motivated, show initiative and be able to work independently to a high standard
