Receptionist

Our client are a trusted independent performance agency, they use data alongside their business understanding to connect with their clients' brands; identifying who they need to target, and then leveraging their ability to plan and buy media to specific audiences to convert those people as efficiently as possible to loyal, long-standing customers.

Position: Receptionist / Office Assistant
Location: Soho, London
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £20k per annum

About the role:

The Receptionist will manage the front desk daily and will perform a variety of administrative and clerical duties. This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate looking for their first role in media or administration.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
- Ensure meeting rooms are clean, tidy and always ready for the next meeting
- Support client events, including organising catering and refreshments
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail / deliveries
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook)
- Update calendars and schedule meetings
- Basic Diary management for their MD

About you:

- Positive, welcoming approach to clients and internal contacts
- Hands-on experience with office equipment e.g. fax machines and printers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service focussed
- Hospitality / Customer Service experience would be an advantage

You may have experience of the following: Receptionist, Office Assistant, Administrator, Administration, Customer Service, Office Administrator, Admin Assistant, Customer Services, Administrative Assistant, Front of House, Corporate Reception, etc.
