CCTV and ACCESS CONTROL MANAGER

£30,000 - £40,000 per annum + company car

42.5 hours per week

Based in Littlehampton, Safe Site Facilities Ltd specialises in all aspects of site security covering the UK.

Reporting to the Director, candidates for this post will have excellent communication and negotiating skills, leadership skills, self-motivation and a flexible attitude.

A knowledge or experience of CCTV installation and access control is essential.

This is a new post, available immediately, and a great opportunity for the right person to acquire new clients and further develop our existing relationships.

Job Purpose

To generate hires and manage existing client accounts relating to CCTV installations and access control. To manage a small team of site operatives and to actively contribute to the functions of the Sales Team and general smooth running of the company.

Principle Duties & Accountabilities

The specific accountabilities of this flexible role may alter from time to time in order to meet the needs of the company, but accountabilities will include (or be equivalent in nature to) those listed below:

  • Deal with hire enquiries predominantly by answering the phone and responding to emails.
  • Gain a clear understanding of customer businesses and requirements
  • Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations
  • Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
  • Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing hires
  • Liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders
  • Recording hires and order information on our computer system
  • Organise and supervise the installation of CCTV and access control
  • Manage, appraise and motivate a small team of site operatives
  • Attending team meeting and reporting on progress
  • Representing the company at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of procedures for contract management and administration in compliance with company policy
  • Support Product Management / Marketing to ensure company products and services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions
  • Monitor changes or developments within the industry
  • Reviewing own performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets

Role Demands

The role may require working antisocial hours and on rare occasions being away from home for a few days

Person Specification

Level of Knowledge & Experience

Relevant experience gained in any commercial area involving contact with customers

CCTV and Access Control experience essential

Clean driving licence.
