Client Details

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a luxury hospitality environment for one of the best known hotels in London!

Description

·To ensure that visitors and clients are received in an excellent and professional manner and that all reception areas operate a high quality service at all times.

·To supervise the professional and warm greeting of members and their guests, to the highest standards.

·To establish a courteous, helpful and friendly attitude to all guests at all times and to use guest names at every available opportunity.

·To maintain a high standard in personal appearance and demeanour, and ensuring the reception team maintain the same standards

·To manage room reservations with the help of the reservations team ensuring that the reception team are processing all enquiries accurately.

·To manage restaurant bookings liaising with the restaurant manager/reservations regarding bookings on a daily and weekly basis. Managing the reception team to ensure all bookings are taken accurately and confirmations are made in due time.

·Recruitment, induction and training of receptionists.

·Appraisals and performance management of staff, including monthly meetings.

·Leading, monitoring, motivating and inspiring the team; providing guidance and support.

·Review of existing standards and procedures while implementing new best practices to ensure a seamless delivery of Front of House Services

·On-going development of skills and knowledge for the FOH team.

·Produce, manage and operate the reception rota, checking future planned absences and planning cover.

·Monitor budget and produce weekly/monthly reporting where applicable

·Supervise the co-ordination of VIP Functions and events.

·Review the uniform requirements and source new suppliers if needed

·Reporting to the General Manager

·Dealing with guest issues and complaints

·Working with the membership secretary, providing support at busy times and providing cover from the reception team during and holidays of absence.

·Working with the private events team, providing support at busy times and providing cover from the reception team during and holidays of absence.

·To have a full understanding of all equipment within the Front Office including Millennia 3000, Fourth hospitality, Word and Email.

·To record all relevant comments of appreciation, suggestions and maintenance points in order to initiate follow up.

·To be responsible for monies/cigarettes in your care and be aware of security issues.

·Ensure correct hand-over procedure of day's business

·To be aware of complaints/problems and bring them to the attention of the General Manager and to offer assistance.

·To make sure that Company Policy and the Vision are followed at all times.

·Must have an outgoing, confident and bubbly personality.

·Be smart and well presented at all times.

·Must have a good understanding on delivering exceptional customer service.
