Brief

This role is responsible for Go to Market activity of relevant product launches within IM Retail, ensuring the execution of all product launches is to time, within budget and executed with excellence in all applicable channels.
This position would suit candidates who are enthusiastic and passionate about new technology, who understand the retail environment and can work to an exceptionally high standard. Working alongside the Retail Merchandising Manager, the Go To Market Manager would be responsible for the delivery of best in class execution of products across up to 4000 retail stores and contact centres.
We are looking for flexible individuals as working hours may vary occasionally. A challenging and exciting role where there is excellent opportunity for progression.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

Strong IT & also Excel skills with knowledge of how to analyse data and create reports to show results.
Excellent eye for details, can identify trends and patterns of information and can communicate findings in a clear and concise manor.
Ability to see issues before they arise and plan for contingency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Building and maintaining effective working relationships with in our house teams as well as external vendors
Advanced PowerPoint creation for varying presentation types

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for budget management & assistance
Day-To-Day GTM operational support
Support the Retail Operations team with product ordering using Samsung's GERP system (FOC)
Develop & maintain key relationships with agencies and Marketing Vendors used for GTM activities
Briefing agencies for all GTM activities
Responsible for ensuring the correct security/cradles are used for each new product launch
o This will include adapting and understanding any new categories of products that Samsung may launch. i.e. wearables
Create and develop all Furniture and POS requirements for GTM activities, and product launches.
Ensuring POS is delivered and installed on time in all channels, and meets the Samsung guidelines
Responsible for updating the furniture spec cards
o This would be for new product launches and during product in-life if a colour has been de-ranged or added
Deliver timelines and plans for all product launches that can be shared with our internal operations team as well as key GTM stakeholders in the wider business.
Liaise with the Innovation team on a regular basis ensuring we are ready to support future innovations in GTM and support all Project based GTM activity such as SSC (Samsung Service Centre's) and SES (Samsung Experience Stores)

Other key Requirements:

Maintain an expert understanding of Market trends, competitor activity & consumer buying patterns.
Adhere to company and client policies, procedures and compliance.
Planning and prioritizing own time efficiently and effectively.
Confidently present action plans & strategies to key stakeholders.
Strong IT Skills (Excel & PowerPoint are essential)
Strong communication skills
Good inter-personal and communication skills. Hands-on approach.
Self-sufficient and able to work under pressure
Flexible and adaptable with ability to work in diverse cultural environment
Enthusiastic and passionate about retail
The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
Eager to tackle challenges and change with limited information
Full driving licence

This role will see you working for Blue Square whilst supporting Samsung.
