John Moore Security Ltd, a security systems specialist with NACOSS NSI Gold accreditation covering the design, installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control Systems. Also BAFE accreditation for the Design, Installation, Commissioning and Maintenance of Fire Alarms

We are now seeking an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to work within the Doncaster and Hull regions (and applicants will ideally live within these or surrounding areas).

The role will entail carrying out maintenance, routine servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of security systems, fire detection, fire alarm and associated equipment and carrying out necessary fault finding on client sites, whilst continually promoting company products and services.

You will have gained a recognised Electrical or Electronic qualification and have prior experience of the installation or service of Fire & Security Detection & Alarm Systems / Emergency Lighting Systems. You will need a valid full Driving Licence and an aptitude for proactive customer service / sales will be required will be beneficial.

As a flexible, team player, you will be able and willing to participate in out of hour's standby and call out rotas with a good level of physical fitness as manual handling and working at heights will be involved. You will also be able to demonstrate the following qualities:- commercial awareness, problem solving skills, excellent communication skills, good presentation (ensuring company vehicle and uniform are kept clean and smart in order to always promote a professional image), ability to work on own initiative and a reasonable level of written and numeric skills.

This responsible role will entail planning and organising your own work programme, completing all appropriate documentation and complying to Health, Safety & Environment processes.

With call out and overtime payments you should expect to earn £35,000 +. Many of our Engineers earn in excess of these amounts due to their work input and sales achievements.
