Job Role: Concierge Security Guard

Location: Poplar

Salary: £20,000 - £21,500

Hours: 3 on / 3 off 8am to 8pm

As a Day Concierge Security Guard you will contribute to our vision of being the leading residential property manager, as recognised by others by:

  • Ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for our residents
  • Handling enquiries in a professional manner

  • Creating good relationships with residents

This role reports to the Development Manager and the Concierge Security Supervisor.

About You

You will be confident and well presented with highly developed customer service focus. You will have worked in similar customer facing roles for at least two years, and have a passion and flair for building and maintaining great professional relationships with those around you. You may hold an SLA licence (CCTV / Door License).

Main Responsibilities

  • To screen and monitor the entrance and departure of all visitors.
  • Being polite and courteous at all times to residents and their guests, assisting with any queries they may have.

  • Conducting daily patrols (using a digital tag system) of the premises and main entrances to detect any intrusion, whilst noting irregularities on a patrol log and reporting it to the management team and authorities where appropriate. Minimum of 10 patrols per shift.

  • Monitor CCTV footage, internal and external areas and all visitors to the site.

  • Ensure key and parcel procedures are strictly adhered to.

  • Responsible for all contractors on site, ensuring sign in and issue of high visibility vest.

  • To monitor any anti-social behaviour, report and update where appropriate.

  • Ensure all the plants are watered and the site is clean and tidy at all times.

  • Ensure all appropriate signage is updated when required.

  • Monitor potential safety and fire hazards and contact emergency services if required.
