QA ENGINEER (GLOBAL RETAIL) | LONDON

The Truly Global Retail (TGR) programme is a huge technology transformation initiative to revolutionise our buying and merchandising capabilities which will allow ASOS to offer the most exciting, relevant product choice for our 20-something customers all around the world.

As a QA Engineer within the Merchandise Planning team you will play an important role in this, design and creation of automated tests for the planning system, helping to define the test strategy, analyse user stories, contribute and question technical solution architectures, work with brilliant engineers/solution analysts, and youll do all of this to help build a fantastic product for our customers !

Youll also have amazing opportunities to learn and develop yourself, we give Pluralsight licenses to all our engineers, we provide training programmes and we offer one to one mentoring; we are as dedicated to helping you learn as you are.

Our new QA Engineer will bring initiative, enthusiasm and a fresh perspective to help shape the outcome of the Merchandise Planning team and contribute towards building lasting capability across this and surrounding Retail Tech teams.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
  • Collaborate with others within your agile team to identify problems, create the optimal solution, and help shape the advanced analytics platform.
  • Utilise a plethora of testing techniques and methodologies to ensure that our features are being created to the highest spec, surface any potential issues, and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Identify quality issues and work with key stakeholders within ASOS to create and drive best practices.


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Youve worked in an agile environment.
  • Youve worked with complex systems within a large-scale IT programme preferably for retail applications as wed ideally like to have someone with a core understanding of retail process.
  • You appreciate all kinds of testing methodologies and recognise the relevance to use manual or automation where appropriate and apply exploratory where possible.
  • You have experience with non-functional testing such as performance, security and accessibility...


WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU NEED?
  • You have test automation experience preferably in Selenium and C#.
  • You have experience shell scripting
  • You have worked with COTS applications, ideally Oracle Retail
  • You have experience with ETL implementation.
  • You have worked on CI/CD
