Job Description:

This property management company provide serviced offices to a range of SME and Corporate businesses. As a part of expansion the company have recently refurbished a Office in Leyton. Providing a variety of business clients with a modern, hi tech office space in which to work, the company need a Front of House Receptionist to provide their customers with a 1st class service and day to day point of contact. A varied role as a Receptionist you responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring enquiries.
  • Direct visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
  • Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
  • Maintain telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
  • Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Organise Facilities Management and Cleaning Contractors
  • Ensure that the building is well presented and that all community areas are tidy and well presented
  • Initial point of contact for clients queries
  • Organise community events, seminars etc
  • In the absence of the Business Sales Manager, undertake tours of potential new clients, showing them what the new office facility has to offer
  • Maintaining a professional working environment for clients and visitors

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. They will be able to demonstrate experience of undertaking reception duties in a busy business environment. The candidate will be well presented and customer focussed, with 1st class organisation skills . The candidate will also have excellent MS Office skills, and will have used a telephony system.

The candidate will have experience of dealing with Facilities Management and/or cleaning contractors, and will be able to cope with a busy environment.

In return the successful caudate will be rewarded with a basic salary of between £17000-£20000 plus benefits.
