Hudson's client is a leading light in the Scottish Financial Services industry who are keen to secure the services of a Head of Audit (CIO, Change & Data) for its growing operation. Reporting to the Director of Audit, this is a business critical position where you will be accountable for managing a portfolio of audits across the business, with primary accountability for delivery of audits across IT, Change, Supplier, People, Data, Security, Operational Risk, and also Data Analytics. You will fulfil these responsibilities with the assistance from 2 Senior Audit Managers and 6 specialist Audit Managers. This opportunity requires substantial key-stakeholder management across all lines of defence and operating units. The role responsibilities: * Reviewing and approving the completion of audits and audit reports in line with approved methodology and quality standards. * Deploying a risk-assessed approach to the development of the annual and quarterly audit plan for areas of accountability. * Managing co-source relationships with key providers in areas of specialism. * Leading the audit relationship with executive and senior stakeholders across the organisation, including key stakeholders within Chief Information Office, CPO, Data, Security, Risk and Supplier Management. Also includes certain stakeholders within Chief Operating Office. * Contributing as Internal Audit's representative at a number of business wide governance committees including overseeing the preparation and presentation of papers. * Contributing to the leadership and talent management of the audit team in conjunction with the Audit Director and other Heads of Audit. * Operating with independence, integrity and professionalism to protect the assets of the organisation. Attendee at a number of key committees, including CIO Risk Forum, Information Security Committee, Operational Resilience Committee and various Portfolio and Project Steering Committees.Also delegate for Audit Director for other Bank committees. * Deep knowledge of auditing Financial Services covering IT, InfoSec, Change, Suppliers, Risk & HR. * Deep technical knowledge of IT domains, processes and technologies. * Extensive experience and understanding of Information Security practices. * Broad knowledge of Project Management practices, including development techniques and project management methodologies. * In depth understanding of Data Analytics processes and application. * Experience in managing audits (and teams) in FS. * Professional qualification in auditing IT/Change. * Relevant degree(s) An excellent six figure package including an excellent pension scheme.
