Receptionist / Administrator, part or full-time, ongoing ad-hoc temporary contracts, Cheltenham aerospace organisation, £10-£12p/hr.

Company Overview

We're looking for a number of receptionist / administrators for ad-hoc temporary contracts at a Cheltenham based aerospace and technology defence organisation. If you have previous experience in reception and administration roles and can offer at least 2 full working days a week, please get in touch! The organisation are building up a pool of individuals who can provide cover for temporary contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage of switchboard
  • Control access to the facility; signing in of visitors and issuing of passes
  • Maintain the Reception Calendar; recording of visitors, meetings, refreshment requirement
  • Maintain on-line conference room bookings
  • Maintain and monitor car parking allocation
  • Set up of meeting rooms
  • Assist with catering requirements; ordering and distribution
  • Assist with organisation of VIP Visits, in-house/off-site conferences, exhibitions, company functions and events
  • Maintain adequate stocks of stationery and other consumables, control stationery and sundry budgets
  • Ensure all electronic equipment in reception area is in good working order, liaising with IT/Facilities departments
  • Produce Purchase Requisitions as requested
  • Administer UK and International Business Travel arrangements
  • Undertake Health and Safety work place assessments as and when required
  • Provide administration support to other operating units remotely as and when required
  • Undertake any other reasonable tasks as requested

Person Specification

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication Skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • Computer literacy especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Please note

  • The successful candidates must be eligible and willing to undergo security checks before starting (this process can take 4-6 weeks)
  • Candidates must have the ability to hold and maintain UK Government clearances

Hours

Minimum 2 full working days per week, up to full-time. Please specify on application your preferred working pattern / number of days.
