Estate Office Receptionist

£18,000 to £20,000

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the estate office team at Blenheim Palace, a World Heritage Site and a stunning and unique place to work.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate who will be the "face" of our office, giving a warm, professional welcome to all our visitors.

Reporting to the Head of HR and the CEO's assistant, as well as meeting and greeting our visitors you will also be responsible for a wide range of reception and administrative tasks, including;

  • Answering calls and responding to emails.
  • Booking meetings, coordinating meeting rooms, arranging couriers.
  • Sorting and distributing post and arranging deliveries and couriers.
  • Managing the visitors book and giving out security passes.
  • Arranging appointments and updating records on databases.
  • Taking payments and handling invoices.

We are looking for applicants with experience gained in a customer-facing role. You will also need to have:

  • Strong IT skills - particularly Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and communication skills.
  • A helpful, flexible and hardworking approach and a 'can do' attitude.
  • A strong team ethos with a willingness to help.

This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5.15pm and the salary range is £18,000 to £20,000 depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career progression.
