Job Description:

Give your career a positive change.

At Cygnet Health you'll have the chance to make a real impact on patients and their families. You'll be exposed to all kinds of new challenges and responsibilities, to ensure you continue learning and developing as you go.

As part of an organisation with an outstanding reputation for innovation in the sector, you'll benefit from a vibrant culture tailored to help you thrive, whatever your level or career goals.

Cygnet Hospital Woking offers a range of Adult Low Secure and Locked Rehabilitation and Recovery Services for men and women.

We are looking for friendly and experienced Receptionists to join our bank, to cover planned absences (such as annual leave) and unplanned absences (such as sickness), as and when required, often at short notice.

You must be adaptable and well presented with a friendly disposition and communication skills. Duties will include welcoming all visitors/staff, maintaining security procedures and effective use of the hospital switchboard. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.

The reception area is open 7 days a week from 7am until 9pm so cover could be required at any time during these periods. Shift times tend to run from 8am until 4pm and 3.30/4pm until 9pm.

You must be available to work at least one shift per week - a minimum of 5 hours.

Joining the bank system is an excellent opportunity to work only the hours that fit around your lifestyle and to gain valuable work experience. You will work ad hoc shifts as staffing levels demand and although shift patterns are not guaranteed we regularly call upon our bank staff to supplement our team.

In return we'll offer you:
  • DBS paid
  • Free shuttle bus to & from Woking train station
  • Regular coaching and support
  • Opportunity to undertake further learning with our excellent apprenticeship scheme
  • Free meals on duty

Please note: successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
