Job Description:

Temporary Receptionist required over the summer.

We are looking for an experienced Receptionist to assist with 5 weeks of cover in Christchurch.

Working within an ultra-modern environment you will be the first point of contact for all visitors to our clients Head Quarters, you will deliver a lasting impression and represent the company positively at all times

Main duties:

Responsible for handling front office reception and administration duties, including greeting incoming visitors and guests, answering all initial inbound calls, handling company enquiries and sorting and distributing mail. Provide general office support on a variety of clerical activities and related tasks.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience working in an office environment dealing in customer service
  • Strong administration skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Great communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet all visitors in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Responsible for all access cards/security cards for all staff and visitors
  • Organise and maintain all keys in the buildings (cupboards, electrical circuits, spare internal office keys etc.)
  • Booking of meeting rooms/arranging catering for board meetings or similar
  • Counting money from all vending machines
  • Distribute incoming post across company and send out any external post
  • Organising training courses for staff where required, liaising with Department Managers
  • Updating and maintaining our telephone directory
  • Keep email distribution groups up to date
  • Ordering of all printer toner cartridges and responsible for safe disposal
  • Photocopier maintenance contract
  • Hire cars - checking peoples licenses and booking
  • Booking taxi's for any visitors
  • Setting up new employees on our finger scanner
Dates:

30th July: Monday - Friday 14:00-17:30

6th August: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 17:30

13th August : Monday - Friday 14:00 - 17:30

20th August: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:30

27th August: Monday - Friday 14:00 - 17:30

Pay Rate: £9ph
