The Position

We have are looking to recruit a pro-active and confident Receptionist to come and join us at our head office in Loughton. You will be used working in a busy reception environment with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure. A confident communicator you will the ability to deal with a wide range of people in an efficient and courteous manner. Your duties will be but not limited to;

Responsibilities;

  • Efficiently dealing with incoming calls, transferring or taking messages as appropriate
  • Directing and dealing with face to face queries appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Carry out general office duties as directed
  • Answer telephone calls, taking messages and passing on accurately to the relevant departments/person
  • Managing bookings for head offices meeting rooms, providing refreshments as and when required
  • Arranging couriers and special postal deliveries
  • Ensure the reception area is kept tidy at all times, ensuring reception literature is current and up to date
  • Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness

The Person

  • Computer literate (proficient in Microsoft Office)
  • Professional appearance
  • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
  • You should also have good IT skills and high attention to detail, along with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build effective relationships with employees and line managers
  • Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise and work under pressure
