Sussex Recruitment seek a confident and friendly Receptionist to join this fantastic leading UK distributor.

As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company and duties will include offering administrative support across the organisation. You will welcome guests and greet people who visit the premises and co coordinate front-desk activities, including distributing correspondence and redirecting phone calls.

To be successful as the Receptionist, you should have a pleasant personality, as this is also a customer service role. Multitasking and management skills are essential & responsibilities are to ensure the front desk welcomes guests positively and executes all administrative tasks to the highest possible standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Receiving visitors into the building, greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
  • Answering and forwarding incoming telephone calls to the correct departments, in a professional and friendly manner
  • Receiving and sorting of mail, including folding and placing invoices and related letters into envelopes
  • Check daily office equipment e.g. printers
  • Assistance with other departments when required
  • Placing stationery orders and maintaining a good level of office supplies
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as Photocopying, Laminating and Binding etc.
  • Update calendars and planners and also schedule meetings

Skills, knowledge and qualifications required

  • Excellent time management
  • Great attention to detail
  • A basic knowledge of Microsoft office is preferred although not essential as training will be given

Personal qualities and working environment

The job will suit someone who has an eye for detail, is organised and able to build rapport with our customers.

You will have a friendly, outgoing, dynamic, enthusiastic personality, and able to work in a team.

Our Client also hold social events and dealer trips; therefore, assistance will be required - offering ideas and suggestions for these events.

Due to the location it will be essential that you have your own transport.
