Job Description:

Cyber Risk Consultant - Audit, Analyst, Finance, Data
Newcastle OR Leeds
Flexible salary range - up to £60,000 per annum

This position will see you consultant with the organisation's clients, with an aim of solidifying their technical products and minimising their overall cyber risk. A growing demand and a frank lack of expertise within the company has resulted in not only the creation of this role, but the investment in a fantastic new position. We are stressing that successful performance in this position could easily lead to a director level appointment, the sky really is the limit.

The company span from a wide-spread of independent businesses, that have come together to create this national powerhouse; some of their routes can be tracked back to the 1800s! Now with a united front: expansion and overall service bolstering is rife, which has provided a plethora of successful sub-divisions and inevitably continued to add to the unrivalled growth of the business. On hand is an impressive book of client accounts, all of which are effectively serviced and retained through frequent successful servicing.

You will spend on average 3 of the 5 working days on site with clients, meaning that you will not get bored of the same 4 walls, it really is an ever changing position! To compensate, there is a generous expensed travel scheme in place to not only ease the financial burden of this, but to make your travel as luxurious as possible. When not travelling, you will be liaising with various professionals and departments to plan ahead your diary and making various introductions to planned clients who are interested in this aspect of the overall service.

The perfect candidate will:
- Come from an analytical background - Business Analysis, MI/BI Analysis, Tech Risk or Auditing
- Have experience of working within the financial services - an understanding of fintech would be advantageous
- Some interaction with cyber security - an understanding of how data is stored, can be used and protected overall

No educational requirements are in place for this role, however as always are beneficial. A demonstrable track record of working within a Risk and Audit capacity is advantageous. An element of project management is required in this role, though there is a strong analytical lean making this position a pure hybrid. We aren't expecting a candidate from an identical position, but we are looking for a candidate with a lot of transferable experience.
