FTSE 100 listed utilities company is seeking a Senior Group IT Auditor for their offices near Portsmouth. The role is set in a challenging and changing environment with demanding delivery timescales, therefore you must have had experience in a similar organisation. The company has pride in the role it delivers and has passion and pride in their diverse and flexible workforce.

The Senior Group IT Auditorwill be involved in delivering a portfolio of risk based audits with a primary focus on CYBER SECURITY and resilience.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Deep understanding of cyber security risk and control
  • Ability to identify risks
  • Understand technically complex IT and industrial control environments
  • Articulate technical issues to both tech and non tech teams
  • Support the development of junior IT audit staff
  • Demonstrable experience of undertaking process walkthroughs
  • Identifying controls and developing and implementing control test plans
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IT control frameworks and best practice
  • ISO27001 - NIST - COBIT- PCI-DSS - GDPR - essential
  • Ability to keep up to date with emerging risks and threats and how this will affect the Group
  • Highly experienced in CYBER security - threat intelligence, securing monitoring, security governance and defence against internal and external security threats
  • Apply Group Audit Methodology and standards - audit best practice and regulatory changes

Experience

  • Graduate IT or computer science related discipline
  • Certified Information Systems Auditor - CISA OR CISSP
  • Highly analytical
  • Excellent communication skills - assertive, strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Highly organising with excellent planning skills
  • A relationship builder
