What will you be doing?

As a Vessel Fire Safety Officer, you will be tasked with protecting people and assets from loss of injury caused by fire or accident.

Working within a sensitive defence contract environment, you will seek to minimise the loss of reputation or financial assets and protect people, information and equipment in and around the premises.

Additionally, you will seek to provide outstanding service and help to ensure operational success.

As this role operates within the defence sector, for the purposes of advertising a limited amount of details can be released. Further detail surrounding the role will be made available at/after interview stage.

What do I need?

To be considered as a Vessel Fire Safety Officer, you will need:

- A First Aid at Work qualification and/or training
- A good understanding of Health and Safety at work
- A good level of education to include at least GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- A full, clean driving licence
- To be a good team player
- Good communication skills

Basic IT skills with using Microsoft Word and Excel (European Computer Driving Licence) would be beneficial to your application.
