Hours of Work: 40 hours Night & day shifts which can include weekends on a rolling shift pattern

Due to exciting new contract wins we are looking to expand our Mobile Security Officer team.

Our client are specialists in delivering a broad range of temporary and emergency services to protect properties and assets. This is an exciting opportunity to join us during a time of change and growth.

We are seeking a Mobile Security Officer who will be responsible for conducting security property Inspections to the highest standards, on time and to specification on a daily basis, reporting any issues found on site.

Key duties:
* Conduct security property Inspections on a daily basis and to report on all issues found on site; these must be backed up with photographic evidence including meter readings on every occasion
* Self-motivated and focused, as a Mobile Patrol Officer, you must be a clear and effective communicator who displays integrity whilst dealing with colleagues and customers. You must also be a professional team player with the desire to learn and grow
* Report any changes at the property, both external and internal, to the appropriate teams so that appropriate remedial action can be taken.
* Ensure that you provide a 1st Class service and meet the Company's quality standards at all times.
* Ensure that the service provided is in a timely manner and carried out in line with agreed deadlines.
* Liaise with others internally and externally as required ensuring effective communication both verbally and in writing, to ensure that information relating to the property is passed on and recorded.
* Liaise effectively with customers, ensuring that they are kept informed of any developments or changes with their property.
* Manage the stock required to carry out any remedial actions
* Ability to work as part of a team, covering for absence and contributing constructively within team meetings.
* Ability to work flexibly as required ensuring that the job is completed to the highest standard.
* Use your own initiative to control and manage own work load/schedules
* Wear company uniform and PPE and carry the correct tools and equipment, including but not limited to torches, PPE, drill, stock. Wear the SIA badge at all times.
* Ensure SIA compliance, applying for renewals in good time to ensure SIA compliance

Essential previous experience:
* SIA Licence - guarding (Security Industry Authority) - Essential
* Frontline Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection SIA licence
* Previous experience in mobile alarm response including conducting patrols and inspections
* Proven experience of carrying out property inspections and site surveys
* Full UK Drivers Licence
* Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to providing first class customer service
* Excellent planning & organising skills with the ability to achieve tight deadlines, often with a minimal amount of supervision
* Good report writing skills
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Reliable with excellent time-management skills
* Ability to take ownership
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Strong inter-personal skills
* Flexible attitude to working hours with the ability to work On Call when required
