Job Description:

Our client has a temporary ongoing vacancy for a Receptionist and switchboard operator working 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Previous similar experience is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Convey a polite, professional and efficient impression to all visitors

  • Be focused and aware of any potential security breaches

  • Booking visitors in and out (Issue and return of ID badges/car details)

  • Take and relay all messages accurately and promptly to all members of staff

  • Ensure the reception area is kept clean and tidy

  • Responsible for managing goods in and out.

  • Ensuring all courier post is collected

  • Organise and manage all meeting room bookings

  • Maintain email enquiry boxes

  • Managing plasma screen in Reception

  • Process travel arrangement bookings including car hire

  • Other duties as required

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Previous experience working as a receptionist and switchboard operator required

  • The jobholder must be computer literate and able to use outlook. A basic understanding of Excel and Word is desirable, although not essential

  • Possess good communication skills, verbal and written

  • Able to demonstrate organisational skills

  • Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
