The Client
Our client based in Harrogate requires an experienced Receptionist to work weekends as a when required. Working hours are Saturdays 8am until 6pm, and Sunday 10am until 4pm.
Previous experience in a Reception role is essential.
The Role
Duties include:
* Taking and directing calls, sometimes through a switchboard
* Completing administrative tasks like filing and delivering and accepting mail
* Cleaning, organising, and maintaining the reception area
* Keeping basic office supplies like pens stocked and accessible to visitors
* Signing in visitors and supplying them visitor's badges
* Greeting visitors to the facility warmly and offering them help immediately
* Providing customer support
* Answering questions about products or services offered at the business
* Maintaining front door security and reporting any suspicious activity
* Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
The ideal candidate must have experience in a Reception role and must meet the following criteria:-
* Be friendly and approachable
* Be organised
* Have a confident telephone manner
* Be able to multi-task
* Be able to manage constantly changing priorities
The Offer
£8.00 per hour
