Salary: £22,000 - £24,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Reception

- Assist parents visiting the school with any queries and concerns

- Help students with any queries and concerns

- Answer telephone calls, emails and letters in a professional manner

- Maintaining supplies and receiving deliveries

- Managing the photocopier

- Pass on messages as required and advise callers seeking information relating to school activities and the school day

- Liaise with the school building managers and security re deliveries

Administration

- Assisting the organisation of academic events

- Supporting the monitoring of student attendance

- Liaising with the Senior Management Team

- Help organise extra-curricular activities

- Assist with the running of parents evenings

- Use the school information system (SchoolBase) to update, add or query student data

- Help with the administration and sending of reports

- Update the database with timetable changes

Person Specification

- University Degree-Level Education beneficial, though not essential

- Excellent written and spoken communication skills

- Strong IT Skills in Microsoft Office and Database management

- Experience in customer-facing environment (Education Sector an advantage)

- Ability to communicate with adults and children politely and effectively

- A warm and friendly manner

- A friendly and business like telephone manner
