Position: College Administrator & Receptionist
Location: West London
Salary: £22,500 - £24,000
Start: ASAP
Role: Permanent & Full Time

Our client is a leading provider of private sixth form education in the UK. The College is an acknowledged leader in the field of exam-orientated education. It offers students a university style environment focused on individual attention in classes of no more than ten.


They are looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic and self-motivated College Administrator and Receptionist to join the Administration team.


You must provide an excellent front of house service for all or stakeholders, both face to face and over the phone. This is a key role which requires highly effective organisational and planning ability, along with excellent IT and communication skills.


The role will involve the below responsibilities, along with the scope to develop the role further:


Taking and directing calls
Handle student enquiries, following the correct procedure
Assisting our attendance officer with the daily attendance check
Ensuring the signing in and out of textbooks is conducted following the correct procedure.
Completing ad hoc administrative tasks
Supporting the Principal, Director of Studies, Head of Administration and Deputy Head of Administration
Organising and maintaining the reception area
Stock and check and ordering of basic office and first aid supplies
Signing in visitors and supplying them visitor's badges
Setting up room bookings for teachers and visitors
Greeting visitors to the facility warmly and offering them help immediately
Scheduling appointments and meeting times
Maintaining the security of the building and reporting any suspicious activity
Creating content and assisting with Ashbourne's social media platforms
Attending Ashbourne activities and events to create content for social media platforms and website


Hours: Full Time (08:30 - 18:00) Monday - Friday. With the occasional need to work additional hours to fulfil the needs of the role at College events.
Holiday: 20 days, the Christmas holiday period plus Bank holidays.
