Service Desk Analyst | Up To £140 / Day | 3 - 6 Months | Bristol

Jonothan Bosworth are currently looking for an experienced 1st/2nd Line Service Desk Analyst based in the Bristol area for one of our key clients based in the South East.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing remote support to several of our clients' customers in the Bristol area, demonstrating excellent communication skills as well as being well versed in problem diagnoses, with the ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders.

THE BASICS:

The ideal Service Desk Analyst will undertake a range of 1st & 2nd line ITIL aligned activities, logging and managing incidents and service requests while capturing all details in the Service Desk tool set ensuring incidents and service requests are monitored, updated and closed within the agreed SLA's.

As Service Desk Analyst you are required to manage PC setup and deployment, Active Directory Group Policies, Web and email filtering solutions as well as deploying and troubleshooting AV and following up with users to ensure issues have been adequately resolved.

THE SKILLS:

Individuals with experience supporting laptops, desktops and mobile devices as well as Windows Server Operating systems and account administration in Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013 and Office365 will be sought after.

Candidates must be well practised in PC and printer set-up & maintenance and have solid Active Directory administration experience.

Any Service Desk Engineers with knowledge of WAN/LAN, Microsoft Office and operating systems as well as Microsoft endpoint antivirus protection, remote access tools like WebEx and SCCM remote control and a confidence to pursue necessary investigations and apply theories to ensure integrity of data and systems will be of interest.
