Retail Team Leader- Mobile Telecoms Company

North London

Hours:

Monday - Thursday: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Friday: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM

Sunday / Bank Holiday (on rotation): 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Our client is an Ofcom registered expanding telecoms company, aiming to always be at the forefront of the industry. They have trade agreements with all the major UK networks and carriers across a full range of products and services. With three retail branches in the UK, they service their customers' UK and international travel needs. They have worked hard to build their products and services portfolio to ensure they are able to cater to their clients' individual and business telecoms requirements. This role is primarily based in their Flagship Store.

As a Retail Team Leader, you will be responsible for all retail sales activities from the time a client enters the branch to closing the sale, as well as customer mobile support throughout the contract term. The successful candidate will be able to elevate company standards and provide excellent customer service. You will work closely with the Procurement Manager and Retail Teams in all the branches to ensure staff are trained on product specifications and confident in their selling capabilities for these products to the end user.

Overview of Key Responsibilities, Tasks and Activities:

  • Establish customer requirements and assess their needs
  • Advise customers by providing additional information on products or services in branch, by email or by telephone
  • Help customers make selections by building customer confidence, offering suggestions and cross selling products and services
  • Remain knowledgeable on products and services offered
  • Managing stock levels
  • Keep branch of a presentable appearance and stock securely stored
  • Be polite and provide excellent customer service at all times
  • "Go the extra mile" to drive sales whilst retaining an excellent level of customer service
  • Maintain highest levels of confidentiality and security when working with customers' devices especially concerning data transfers

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proven working experience as a Retail Team Leader
  • A desire to work as part of a team to generate fresh and innovative ideas
  • Effective leadership and the ability to motivate others
  • Plan and prioritise workloads and delegate accordingly
  • Customer focused
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Hold all work-related information and materials confidential
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in technology and telecommunications

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
