The Company:

Eileen Richards Recruitment is working with one of our successful and continually expanding clients based in Leicestershire. Due to a result of business growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Receptionist to join their business to act as the first point of contact for their thriving Head Office.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To greet all visitors in a professional and friendly way. Issue security badges and advise relevant members of staff in an appropriate manner.
  • Monitor visitors book ensuring that all visitors are signed in and out correctly.
  • Managing the Reverse car parking policy for visitors and staff.
  • Ensure that all visitors are signed in and in the event of a fire that the list is checked and given to the relevant fire warden.
  • Respond to public enquiries.
  • Answer all incoming telephone calls in line with company procedure and directing customers to the correct departments.
  • Undertake general administrative duties.
  • Update colleague telephone lists as and when necessary.
  • To work within Company Security Policy at all times.
  • Manage room bookings for colleagues.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing post for the business.
  • Taking messages and ensuring they are passed on correctly to the relevant person/department.


About You:

  • Previous experience of using a switchboard.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • 2years+ reception experience.
  • High standard of professional appearance.
  • Good 'people skills' for building relationships with colleagues at all levels.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise your own work and other people's.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written).
  • Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday.
  • PC Literate in MS office and able to use Excel and Word.
