Receptionist /Administrator

£9.00 per Hour

Birmingham

Venatu Recruitment Group are currently working in partnership with our client in recruiting a Receptionist on a temporary basis ongoing for 3 months, The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for the office, manage visitors, day to day meetings and support with the daily running of the office.

Responsible for:

  • Responsible for greeting visitors and managing the signing in process whilst ensuring everyone has read and understood the visitor's safety and induction process
  • First point of contact
  • Daily management of meeting rooms - manage the booking of meeting rooms and display the schedule of each meeting room daily
  • Reminder of movements board - end of each week and updating it
  • Tracking incoming and outgoing post and distributing around the office
  • Reporting maintenance issues to Office Administrator
  • Problem solving on a daily basis
  • Security within the office - issuing lanyards, ensuring they are visible and visitors taken care of by host
  • Receiving and signing for all deliveries.
  • Project Directory - maintain company directory and internal contacts list
  • Support Office Admin with ad-hoc tasks when required

Expected

  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printers)
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Customer service attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Hours of Work

8.30am - 5pm Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4pm Friday
