Our Operations team are looking for a Receptionist, to work in our London Clinical's across Zone1. You will provide a high quality, professional reception and administrative service to patients, doctors, staff, colleagues, health service professionals and others.

You will act as the first point of contact for patients contacting the Practice and to portray the Practice in the highest possible professional basis. To ensure that enquiries from patients are efficiently and courteously handled to the mutual satisfaction of the partners and patients.

Your role is to:

  • Act as a primary point of contact between GP at Hand & the clinic location.
  • Receive and direct patients and visitors to the practice promptly & courteously.
  • Process incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
  • Following up requests for appointments, information from hospitals, booking transport or interpreters
  • Organise transport for patients to hospital appointments
  • Be Responsible for booking in appointment, emailing and faxing referrals.
  • Manage medical records arrival and deduction process.
  • Effectively manage reception area to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the integrated reception service.
  • Support other administrative responsibilities associated with the role.
  • Assist our members with using the app and digital services.
  • Be a key contact for babylon clinicians; and manage the communication channels between the clinicians and the babylon team
  • To observe safe working practices, with respect to health and safety procedures, confidentiality and computer security.

Who fits this role:

  • Someone with Receptionist experience
  • Worked in a GP Practice or Health Care Organisation
  • Experience working in an environment with direct contact with the public
  • A self starter, driven and likes to take ownership of their work
  • Able to communicate internally and externally providing a high level of service
  • Good written skills to respond to member enquiries
  • Demonstrates exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to multi - task in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience using Systmone is desirable
  • Willing to communte to different clinics across Zone 1
